Product Updates: Image Embed, VOD data etc

Whether you are back in the office, or back in your home, we would like to share some exciting new features that we developed during the summer. In case you did not know, Clipsource has set up its own development facility in Pakistan during the spring. With three full-time employees in our Lahore office, we can now produce more stuff, during more hours of the day. See you online!

CUSTOMIZE YOUR SENDER EMAIL ADDRESS
Starting today, we will provide all our customers with the opportunity to use their own email address - also known as 'from' address - when sending emails from the PressWeb tool. It is an optional upgrade that allows you to use your own domain, like press@yourdomain.com.

This means that whenever you send a press release, event invitation or any other information to your contacts, they'll more easily identify your brand as the sender. Plus, when contacts instinctively hit that reply button their email will be sent directly to you, instead of us.

EMBED IMAGES IN PRESS RELEASE EMAILS
Make your press releases more visually appealing and increase impact. Now we introduce the possibility to insert images into the body text of press releases and screener emails. This will not only help you grab people's attention, but also improve readability. Images are of course also visible in the PressRoom. The embed feature will be available to all customers during September.

NEW VOD MODULE
Streamline sharing of VOD information with journalists, resellers, distributors and recommendation engines – In September Clipsource will launch a new module for promotion and distribution of VOD data, VOD Channels and VOD programming. The new module allows you to manage, present and share your VOD offerings, availabilities and business models in the PressWeb and MediaBox. One immediate benefit is that you can manage and present both Linear and VOD channels in one comprehensive environment. This is just the first version of this module, going forward we will add more features such as smart messaging and API options.
